L.A. Clay Studio is the place where clay magic happens! Clay classes are offered in the West Decatur studio and at The Makery in State College, PA. Bisqueware for Paint-Your-Own Pottery is available to paint during open studio! Lynn Anne Verbeck is the owner of L.A. Clay Studio and Resident Instructor of Ceramics at The Makery. Lynn Anne is also a Galaxy Teaching Artist for Pennsylvania's Arts in Education program.

Lynn Anne has been working in clay for 25 years! She received her Bachelors of Arts from Penn State University in Film and Video production. Her love of clay developed during her senior year at Penn State when she took two semesters of wheel throwing.

She pursued clay in NYC for 17 years and received her MFA in Ceramics in 2011 from SUNY New Paltz. She relocated back to central PA after her second child was born.

Her studio is located behind her home in a spacious 4 car garage that boasts 4 electric wheels, 2 kilns, Paint-Your-Own Pottery and plenty of tables for hand building.
