Clay Camp 2026! Ages 5-16

Clay Camp is Monday through Friday, 1 to 4 PM.

Clay Camp is offered for three different weeks in the summer!

$250 + $25 materials, and firing fee = $275

**Please bring a snack and drink daily!

**Friday is Duck Donut Day, please sent $3.00 for your child to purchase a donut. Please send a different treat if your child is gluten free.

Clay Camp is for kids ages 5 - 16, everyone, all together creating a positive, nurturing environment. Day one we do a fun icebreaker and get to know everybody's names. Every day of camp, the daily clay project is introduced and we work on it for the first half of the day and then we take a break. The weather permitting, we walk up to the duckpond on campus and play tag and have our snack and have a half an hour to run and laugh and play! The second half of the camp is time to finish projects as needed and to work on an environment all together! This environment that we create has no rules and no boundaries and at the end of the week we destroy it. The kids love doing this! There’s a sense of freedom to build things out of clay that doesn’t have to be structurally sound or perfect for firing. We will finish all of the clay creations with glaze, and they will be fired off site to be revealed at the Art Show.

Each week of Camp will have a different Art Show date. Please see below and mark the date for your child’s week on your calendars.

If you’re not able to attend the Art Show, your child’s clay creations will be on the front windowsill of The Makery. Please pick up the pottery by the end of September. All remaining pots will be thrown out on 10/1.
